And not the IG report from April that says “he should testify before a grand jury” one that say he actually has been brought before a grand jury, and seeing as Horowitz isn’t a prosecutor and can only recommend a grand jury you still haven’t answered.

We need to know if McCabe is telling the truth about direct political pressure to help the Clintons. If he is, we need to know who told the DOJ official to make that call. That explanation needs to be under oath before a grand jury, since it smells a lot like obstruction of justice and may involve his bosses.

Somebody’s lying here, and maybe more than one person. All these players are, or were, high-ranking officials at the FBI and DOJ. All of them ought to explain themselves before a grand jury. Since those proceedings are secret and indictments take time, we need public reports, and soon, from Horowitz’s office about these allegations

NO. I did not make any reference to a Grand Jury before Sept. '18. I said that IG Horowitz in April recommended that DOJ consider charges. That may or may not proceed via a Grand Jury process. A US Attorney's office can decide whether to bring charges without any GJ, although they often like to run things through a GJ to present witnesses and evidence, get a GJ to stamp approval on charges.

Whether anything much will come out of McCabe appearing before a GJ, well we just don't know until something happens. We all hope he will be charged, and ofc the specifics of the charges matter a great deal (hope he will be charged with a lot more than just one count of lying, etc.).

Fox News report says McCabe’s lawyer Bromwich told them the Grand Jury looking into his client was empaneled in early August.

The IG made a referral against McCabe in April to the US Attny’s office in D.C. according to CNN.
