Have been using the duck for a couple of years now, and encouraging others to do the same. The thing the got me about Google was the presumptive ads and sites it recommended. Including the fact that it had an obvious left-leaning bias. It seemed I always had to look at the sixth or eighth or tenth page to find credible sources. Bye-bye, Google. Hello, Duck!
For a while, I used Startpage (a Google wrapper), but it still gave me the odd presumptive ads and site recommendations.
