Um... Impeachment (in this case Limpeachment) is by the House and the trial takes place in the Senate.
Again everyone read the Constitution!
Its important to remember impeachment is a political act which means it can be done for good reasons or for not so good (political!) reasons. You just need a simple majority, so if a majority wants to be frivolous and for a ridiculous reason to impeach they can do that. Hopefully their constituents will hold them accountable for foolishness. (I had to laugh as I typed that!)
Again it is not removal from office!! Slick was impeached but not removed! In the Senate trial, they did not vote to remove him from office. They’ll have a trial and make a mockery of the Constitution but they will have it. Trump will not be removed.
