Personally, I’m with the author, a nice piece of jewelry — something that costs money, not a cheat pass from the cheatin’ cheapskate — so he can then cheat scot free with a clean conscience.

Seems some author she’s citing says that women are built differently and aren’t into long term (monogamous) relationships like men are.
In other words, no cheating for men.
