Exactly. I think it’s probable that he had a medical condition he was completely unaware of.
There are congenital heart conditions that can lead to sudden death. I know a young man who had that. After playing football in school several years and passing the required physicals with no problems, one day he happened to mention to his mother an occasional symptom he had. His mother was concerned and his PCP sent him to a cardiologist. He was diagnosed with a problem and got the required intervention. It cured the problem and he was well enough to resume playing football. He had had intermittent symptoms his whole life and no one else knew because it was “normal” to him.
Brain aneurysms can be present from birth and can be totally asymptomatic.
