AirBnb is useless in America, but awesome in places like Japan where hotels are needlessly expensive.
For a family with more children than can comfortably fit in a hotel room, it was a God send. We took out two Airbnbs when we moved to Phoenix and we got a three bedroom house in Mesa for less than the cost of a Motel 6. I dont pick a home based on its cable. We were able to take our time to find the right permanent rental. A hotel would have made us rush and make an inferior choice.
