I saw the same thing in a front page article in the OC Register saying that Mueller’s court filing stated an unnamed person (Trump) directed Cohen to make “illegal” payments to Daniels. I guess the logic is that the payments were illegal because they were made in order to influence the outcome of an election.
Does anyone know if Mueller is officially calling the payoff illegal?
So how many payments were made for Congress people to pay off sexual accusers and were any of those payments made prior to their election and/or re-election?
