Thank you. The Parkinson Disease was suspected everywhere.
The ever present needle that got Hillary out of bed to function as a candidate was a real tell that she was not in good shape. She seems more under med control now, except for the coughing fits that are chronic when she speaks, but she meds or not, she can not walk with comfort or confidence.
Her schedule is no longer grueling, however, as she shows up when she wants to, for an hour, and appears on stage only to immediately sit! It’s so obvious she does not want to risk standing long or to move much in her walking.
What is that blasted cough about, I wonder? Allergies are not cutting it as an excuse.
I think the doctor explained that the meds she is on cause the coughing. They must time her medication to be at peak effectiveness when she is in
public. When she has had episodes like the 9-11 Parkinson’s “freeze” she had been out too long away from getting her dose of that drug. He says her angry outbursts and over the top stuff (“Why aren’t I 50 points ahead you might ask!!!???) is from the disease and meds.
I used to wonder how many different things she had with all her odd behaviors but once I watched a few of Dr. Ted’s videos it all fit together in one disease.
I used to think the cough was from high blood pressure med (ACE inhibitor) but it is too sustained when it happens. ACE inhibitors cause a frequent dry, brief cough.
Parkinson’s patients often have great difficulty with their saliva secretions and choke on them resulting in a more violent cough episode. I hope she gets to discuss that and other issues soon with God.
