So 34 years ago he made some jokes and asked a woman to come to his office and that is sexual assault? I’d say most every guy I knew in the early 80,s is guilty then. What a load of crap.

Actually the rape claim is the one from 34 years ago. The drunken pass thing was 8 years ago. Just briefly heard the other 2 claims and don’t have dates for them. One was that he invited a woman over to his place for wine, the other was that he touched a woman as she was showing him her solar system tattoo (the jokes just write themselves on that one).

I agree. You have, 1 rape allegation.. obviously serious if true.

Then you have what are at worst some drunken and clumsy passes with women he has no association with or control over.

Then you have a subordinate who went to his apartment voluntarily, and suffered a clumsy attempt at a seduction.

The rape allegation serious. The middle two? Why is this news?

And the third, no one forced this woman to attend, and any woman invited by a guy back to his place alone, can’t be so stupid to not assume more is implied. And at the end of it Nothing happened but some funky handshake. No allegation of forced anything or professional retribution for nothing more happening.

Honest to God, lock every man up now, because other than the first allegation, there isn’t a man breathing who hasn’t put out a failed or awkward pass... or had a woman misinterpret innocent intentions.

I am no fan of Mr Tyson, but other than the rape allegation, none of this is news.

I’ve had women I have no interest in grab my ass and other things, or make very overt passes at me that I had to extricate myself from.. from sober and drunk women... yes technically some of these situations would be assault, but what is served by having some drunk woman arrested for behavior that they would almost certainly be mortified or embarasses that they did when drunk? Or if not drunk, what benefit would it served that they misread my lack of interest and went to far?

I will defend any woman who has truly been assaulted or threatened, but where are these women’s mothers and fathers and how are they raising them that they are a victim of some guy just makes a pass drunken or otherwise that they are not interested in.
