Q asked a couple of times as in post 1522 "How do you share what you already know (legally)" and other times "how do you introduce evidence into an investigation (legally)" in post 1287. In 1287 he was talking about the Cohen raid but I think this also explains, at least partially, Flynn's guilty plea.

Who knows where the bodies are buried? I'd love to know what Flynn's been telling them!

that was always my inference from the Flynn plea. What I always pondered, however, is that the plea came from the Mule op and, clearly, the other players would be the ones that were acting on Flynn’s knowledge. It seems to have played out that way, though ... that NBC news guy tweet was really a dropped jaw.
