It does get tiresome. It would be nice if everyone participating in trolling, sliding, off-topic jabber, etc. would kindly place an asterisk on the first line of their post. Like so;

I will voluntary start trying to remember an asterisk on slides. As a person who spends 95% of my time days behind I think that's fair and polite. It's difficult not to get into "community" mode when we are caught up but the act of the catching up requires scroll skills.

apologies in advance, I won't always remember. But I will commit to making the effort when I slide. Just seems good manners with this community.

obviously getting trolls to do that is useless. Most of those we know by name. Still would be nice if their posts were in red so we didn't even have to take time to look. *unsure whether this post needed a slide asterisk* but would be good housekeeping.

*Same here; and I think it’s a great idea. Seems I’m always 500 posts behind and should refrain from making any comments at all because I’ll never catch up.
