Unfortunately so many Millennials aren’t even aware of the evils of Communism. The evil empire dissolved before they were born. China is using elements of capitalism. So they think of Communism as that Utopia that marks talked about, they don’t even know it has been tried and failed. I have no idea what they are teaching in our schools about communism but I’m sure it’s not the truth.
Whenever people continue to praise theories that have been tried and failed, they say that the previous leaders “just didn’t do it right”. This applies to communism and socialism as well as educational theories like open space classrooms and self paced learning. These theories work occasionally in a very small setting like a convent, family or home schooling. They definitely do not work for large populations.
