Why are DOJ attorneys advising scoundrel Comey to defy congress?
They are responsible to protect the Constitution and the law.
They represent (or are supposed to) America and the American people, not Comey and others who committed criminal and/or seditious acts.
Is there anything short of a nuclear strike on the Washington DC Swamp that will clean out this nest of vipers?
IM, that struck me as strange as well.
The DOJ cannot be his defense lawyer, right?
I think that the DOJ guy was there to make sure Comey did not talk about things or people that are currently under investigation, as to prejudice or jeopardize the investigation.
That is the only thing I can come up with.
