The number one responsibility of the US Congress is to fashion a working budget to keep the govt working --- they fail every time! One reason is to force 'continuing resolutions', to force base line budgeting, i.e. annual growing deficits.
With the last budget mess they put Prez. Trump in a position of ok-ing the budget or closing down the govt. They are putting him in the same position this time. He has said that he would not fall for that again.
We will see. This Congress is a worthless bunch of carpetbaggers!
Yes. They are. I'm praying now. President Trump needs to follow through and let the shutdown happen. We need to continue in our support and prayers. But we need red lines not to be crossed too and I will stand behind the man if he'll follow through with this.
