Through a business relationship I met a retired Secret Service Agent who had served on GHWB's presidential detail. That man was just as complimentary of his treatment by the Bush family as the ones in this article. He had stories from all the way back to the Johnson administration.
Living where I do, I also hear of the good deeds of GWB. They do seem to be genuinely kind, considerate people at face value. It makes it quadruplily hard to convince most locally of the derpy roots of the family. Local people don't want to believe such nice people could be satanic.
So, I persist at activism. Go easy on facts around the county. I am so grateful to President Trump/Q that he's shining the light.

I know a presidential protection detial guy from the Bush 41 era as well. Told the same stories about how Bush stayed in DC so the detail folks could have a nice Christmas at home. In fact, this guy was the one who Bush puked on in Japan. His wife is my youngest son’s godmother.
