Funny that more people get upset if a teacher tells kids that Santa doesnt exist, than if a teacher tells them that God doesnt exist.

Exactly. That’s the reason we explained to our children
that Santa Claus is make believe and a fun way people celebrate Christmas. The same applied to the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy.
We did so, because we did not want them later deciding that we had been lying to them about Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy, and they then decide that the Bible was make believe, and God didn’t exist.
They learned early on the difference between fact and fiction, unlike a lot of the Snowflakes we find in the news currently.
What makes you think that we wouoldn’t be just as upset if a teacher told children there was no God?
Indeed.
Weve told our kids much of what she told the class. We decided that we want our children to know that what we tell them is true. When we tell them about Jesus, we do it because he is real. We still have money left by the tooth fairy, presents in stockings, etc. but the kids know its just a game.
That said, I would never, ever tell anyone elses child that what their parents told them wasnt true.
