Protesters angry about rising taxes clashed with French police for a third straight weekend and more than 100 were arrested Saturday. Pockets of demonstrators built makeshift barricades in the middle of streets in central Paris, lit fires, sprayed graffiti on the Arc de Triomphe and threw rocks at officers.
Protesters, including some wearing black hoods, piled up large plywood planks and other material in the middle of a street near the Arc de Triomphe, and set the debris ablaze.

Not the entire reason. Only part of it. Macron said who else he thinks the EU military ought to be used against, and it wasn’t just Russia and China.
They protest that too, but it doesn’t make the news. This does, though.
Macaroni is doing what socialists do - gonna be one o fthe next Hitler’s with his EU cronies once they cause enough commotion to “have no choice but to put them uppity citizens in their rightful places”....I guess his pleas for them to kneel before their socialist betters hit some deaf ears.
He already opened his trap about his admiration of Pétain of all people. The guy is a totalitarian indeed.

The French are the laziest most spoiled Socialists in Europe. The Germans may strike with strong labour unions but at least they work...

Our idiot governor was all over tv begging people to vote for a huge gas tax to prevent pollution we don’t actually have in this state because....he needed the funds for the illegals.
We voted down taxes this time, even the stupid liberals who voted him in, but if he gets worse, there may be riots in the streets.
