Claire McCaskill...fears Democrats won’t ever win back senate majority...slams her own party...

Outgoing Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill did not pull any punches in a recent interview, blasting her party for not empowering moderate Democrats in the 2018 midterm elections.

Recapping her Senate career with Rachel Martin on NPR's "Morning Edition," McCaskill called her loss a "failure" to bridge the gap between the Democratic Party and Americans in rural areas. Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley unseated McCaskill, ousting the Democrat after two terms.

"This demand for purity, this looking down your nose at people who want to compromise, is a recipe for disaster for the Democrats," McCaskill said. "Will we ever get to a majority in the Senate again, much less to 60, if we do not have some moderates in our party?"

McCaskill added that House Democrats would be wise to be "very cautious and careful" when using their newfound power to investigate and probe the Trump administration.

"They've got to be careful with their oversight that it does not dwarf their messaging about how much we want to get done for the people of this country," she said. "If we focus on just going after Trump, then he has his foil."

She added that continuing to hammer Trump has not necessarily moved the needle in terms of converting his supporters, demanding a different approach than Democrats have taken during his first two years in office.

"He clearly will never take any responsibility for any mistakes he's made," she said. "And frankly, a lot of his mistakes have been pointed out, and it hasn't really moved a lot of the voters we need to move."

Sadly we have our own purists that are as blind as the radical progressives.

Good lord is this woman ugly. Why are most of the RAT senators uglier than a brick? She pulls her gloves off and lets everyone in on her rage, real intent, stupidity, and her allegiance. What took you so long goofy Claire? Defeat is so sweet on the RAT loony tune table. Good bye Claire, good riddance and hope the door hits your fat ass on the way out. One less dumb ass brick to suffer.

Born and raised in Missouri. The state has a democratic past, but that changed in the 1980’s. For the most part if a Republican has a good message,a conservative message he will win the election. If the Republican is not clear on what he stands for he will lose to a Democrat who talks a conservative message. But the problem with a Democrat is that no matter what they say in the state, they have to deal with the Washington party. This over time gets them into trouble back home. In Clare’s case it caught up with her. She should have lost 6 years ago. But the Republican running against her was a fool. That wasn’t the case this time. She lost. I am not sure a Democrat can win in this state unless they are running against an I’d.

This whole “moderate” thing from her is nothing but a tactic....just branding. At heart she’s a hardcore Leftist. She only tried to appear moderate to the voters in Missouri come election time. Her voting record makes it clear what she really believes in.

Now that you're unelected, Claire dear, you're at the back of the line for a slot at Benito's Esso station...

TODAY is the first time anyone associated with Huber has “reached out” to a Clinton Foundation whistleblower??!!

Are we really supposed to find this encouraging?? It may be nothing more than touching a few bases so that Huber can say to any Congressional questioners, “yeah, we interviewed people....” WHY would they wait until the END of 2018 to begin doing even the slightest pretense of an investigation??

She’s a fool and the people knew it. That’s why she will soon no longer be Senator McCaskill. Plus she’s a liar and flaming leftist.

THAT IS A FACT JACK!!

A "moderate" democrat is like saying there are "moderate serial killers" and there are serial killers. She and the DNC activist media shills keep repeating the talking point. There are very very few talking pundits on tv that call out this bull crap. Every time the word moderate is used next to a democrat's name they need to correct the activist journalist immediately. STOP letting the media define what a moderate is! How does a moderate support the killing of unborn children like Claire McCasKILL did? Good riddance Claire! You were NEVER a moderate!!

Strange, I thought she had won! Probably because in a move to a different state, I lost the plot on this. So glad to hear she is history.

None of them are moderates now. Some of them do try to be stealthy about their real positions, though. For example, if they get both the presidency and congressional majorities, they’ll go directly for gun control in a big way.

Hawley for the most part looked the part of the usual GOPe stooge, he had one good ad, which no doubt was mocked by the conservative and GOP elite which basically called for fairness. But hey white privilege or something so we don’t need to be fair to the white untermensch.
