Having a forum on Twitter gives one the power of outreach to many people. This power can be selectively controlled through the denial of access. You give the politics of one person more power by denying the politics of the alternative position. You deny the truth and allow the lies of the opposition. This is not the behavior of a free country.
During this streaming video, I saw censorship in the making. When the police arrived they told everyone to go to the other side of the street and stay on the sidewalk. When that happened, they denied any close up video to continue. You could hardly hear what Laura Loomer said as the traffic sounds and the sidewalk conversations were picked up over her words. The police said the reasoning for the relocation of cameras and onlookers was to “determine what was going on.” A lot of time went by and the onlookers and cameras were still on the other side of the street. It was enough time to determine what was happening. This tells me they used a lie to justify a censorship tactic.
I had to step out. Did I hear she was arrested?
