This would be a terrible thing for any puppy to go through.
Back in 2007 when there was the huge pet food recall because of the Chinese adding melamine 2 foods that they sold American pet food companies, I accidentally had several old bags that I’ve gotten on sale. And this wasn’t cheap stuff, Natural Balance grain-free. Apparently no quality food was safe from the Chinese.
So now I buy my pet food at least 6 months in advance of feeding it. It’s not out of date yet but it would have been tested enough that any problems would be known by the time I feed it to my babies. It’s just not worth the risk, I don’t trust anybody anymore.
