I live outside a very small town and the kids seem like they are in a trance. Polite but like the Children of the Corn. I am not kidding. The teens are scary. I think our tax payer dollars are funding our demise. Hitler youth all over again.
I know what the previous poster was talking about with this generation thinking they were smarter than everyone else. My two 17 year olds were convinced that they were smarter than old Dad who was a lovable, daft old man. And honestly, they got better grades in school than I ever did for reasons that would bore everyone. That is, until they got their SAT scores back... turns out old Dad still has one up on them hahaha.
