I bet you, if he’s elected, they’ll try it.

What will their attempt look like, exactly. What will they say. That Sessions participated in the Trump campaign so he must abstain from X vote? Which vote and why?

Not even an impeachment vote.

There is no ethical compulsion for a Senator to abstain from a vote in the chamber based on bias. Senators are not judges or law enforcement officials.

If the House gets an impeachment vote, then yes, the Senate vote on that. Again, no compulsion, but I repeat, the Dems would put pressure on and it wouldn’t surprise me to see Sessions withhold a vote in response.

And I know how Congress works.
