Sounds like from reading down thread that some to many of them may have been kidnapped. Stolen. Why doesn’t that bring the arm of the law down with a mighty reach and a deadly hand? I just don’t get it. Well, I do get it, the mob is better armed than the police, these children are hostages.
I’m guessing these children were “purchased” or “rented” by the organizers with promises to take very good care of them. Either that or Hondurans don’t even love their children, with makes them sub human in my view.
In every culture there are people who don’t love their children, but for most this looks more like Moses discovered in the reeds and going to live in Pharoah’s house. Many around the world truly believe we live a fairy tale life in the US (and in some cases, we do, by comparison). They also have had an enduring hopelessness in their own countries. Going to the US is like winning the lottery for your children, grandchildren and more. Most parents will make sacrifices like this for their children as a selfless act. The problem in this case is they have been given bad information and are being manipulated.
