Ridiculous prices on meats. ....
Saved $500 on Mac computer for first purchase.
Run the sound through your audio system, if you have one. The sound should be superb. Anything with Blu-ray will sound beautiful.

Costco has a 2 year warranty and if you use your Costco Visa they add another 2 years.
They have a Hisense 43” 1080p LED LCD TV
$189.99 Online with free shipping.
I think they’re all made by the same Chinese children now.
My main tv is a 65” Sanyo I’ve been using daily as my computer monitor and tv screen for years now. The color is holding up great. I did have to get a sound bar to get decent sound but that was only $50 or so.
The 4k is the hot ticket now. They can be had for as little as $400 for a 55” which is what I paid for the one in my bedroom almost a year ago through the Military Exchange to try gaming. It’s not for me. It too needed a sound bar. It’s worth getting a good sound bar IMHO.
I already have it running through a sound system. The problem is it has an on/off switch so I must turn it on manually so I just leave it off most of the time.
Probably wouldn’t hurt to just leave it on all the time but the TV is in the bedroom and not watched as much as the one in the living room.
There's more value in the wood of that TV than there is in the parts needed to make an entire flatscreen. :^)
Samsung. If you have a COSTCO near you, that would be the place I would recommend looking. Best deals on Samsung TVs.
I don’t watch TV. But, IMHO, Smart TV=Telescreen from 1984. Maybe not yet, but it’s coming.
In the last 10 years we bought two Samsung TVs, both toward the top of the line. When the first smaller one broke, I bought a cheap TCL to hold me over. It worked great, when the second Samsung broke, I made the mistake of repairing it, when it broke the second time, I bought another TCL for less than the cost to repair the Samsung. Both seem to be fine. I’m done with Samsung.
congrats what model? thinking of a new mini here
MacBook Pro. They have a daily special where you can get extra savings.
I like the color and brightness of Samsung monitors and TVs.
True, you cannot get broadcast 4K or HRD but both are available on the Internet and produce stunning image quality, even in your price range.
I buy referb and open box displays from Microcenter and have had excellent results while saving anywhere up to around $100 but doing so.
If you have a separate audio system, by all means hook it up and take advantage of home theater sonics, and just about any screen these days works fine as a computer monitor. I've got 42 inches of prime desktop real estate and I sit about three feet away from the screen. Looks Hugh and series - easy to read . You also don't need a video card that puts out 4K, even at 1080P the images look great.
Enjoy
It’s getting that used ones cost as much as new ones - unless you’re looking for 4k.
I don’t think much of smart tv’s - I have one, and 3 dumb tvs. (2 Visios, 1 Sony, and 1 Samsung) My Samsung is a smart tv, but I ended up sticking a Roku in it.
I’m a cord cutter and get by with OTA and Streaming - oh, and I save money..
For $89, I have been thinking about getting one of these to use as a PC monitor.

It’s only 32” but that’s way bigger than TVs used to be, and for $89 it’s almost free.
Blacsk Friday is just around the corner:

I like the color accuracy on the Samsung tv’s.... Vizio are a close 2’nd. Both are reliable.
Kill your television!
