I was hoping someone more familiar with California than I could comment on my post from yesterday. Do you know the area that burned in the Camp Fire?

Of course no-one in the media is reporting the real problem behind these fires. So I decided to look into the Forest Management Issues in that area.

I think this project is in the area of the fire, https://www.fs.usda.gov/project/?project=41053

When you go to the link, it states the following,”Project cancelled due to issues with the planning process to date. See letter attached to this record.”

There was no letter attached, unless I missed it.

I scanned/read through the document above. It sounds as though they worked on this project since at least 2012, probably longer and then cancelled it after jumping through all the environMental hoops. My guess is a lawsuit was filed to stop the project. I have seen this on too many occasions.

These sue happy environMentalists have the blood of the lost souls from this fire on their hands. They are the reason the forests are a tinder box.
Of interest “The Feather River Ranger District has formed a new collaborative in an effort to provide a venue and opportunity for any interested or concerned citizen or stakeholder to be involved in the active and adaptive management of lands on the Feather River Ranger District.”

I have been trying to get the document of the Initial Meeting to download this morning, I am sure it would be enlightening. https://www.fs.usda.gov/detailfull/plumas/landmanagement/?cid=FSEPRD589058&width=full

I would love to hear your feedback. Also, prayers for President Trump and all Californians impacted by these fires.

I don’t know much about the area. I am just north of SF.

One of the locals said they would never move to Paradise and that upon viewing it for the first time said it would be a deathtrap in a fire and given the terrain, layout and landscape a huge fire was almost guaranteed.

I believe bad forest management and environmental policies could have been a factor in addition to our drought conditions following record rains.

I also believe arson is a possible cause.

I was listening to Larry Elder a few days ago. He had a guest on who was quite knowledgable on Calif forestry situation and his assessment was that the money for forest management was shifted to sanctuary cities and therefore Trump is correct...poor forestry management by state of Ca contributed to horrific wildfires-—— but because of lack of funds. No mention of how fires started, but money diverted to sanctuary cities/support of illegals TO THE DETRIMENT OF CITIZENS further demonstrates how little the dems value us, the citizens of this country and will do anything to get votes, money, power.

(Life got in the way of Q so posting delay= 6 hours. )
