I don’t know that the commission failed - it was transferred to DHS ... TBD ;)
and I’m still scratchin my head how the feds couldn’t get the states to give up the info.
Repub states gave it up. RAT states either refused or sued.

Take the fed money ? then they get a say...everywhere but here ?
Almost all states have taken fed money to upgrade their voting processes\databases since 2002.(An outgrowth of the 2000 elections)

A spit-load used fed funds for upgrades in 2018.
Instead of fighting, Pres. Trump disbanded that commission and moved the responsibilities to DHS.
They still haven’t got the info they wanted.
I thought it was a fight worth fighting. Guess not.
