I'm a 22 year veteran of FR but it's getting harder and harder to hang out on regular threads anymore. Freepers were always ahead of the curve on news and politics but now most are so far behind they can't even see our dust.
Just a suggestion...
Could just be that all those trolls we've flushed out of this thread have hung around until they've actually taken over "out there"?
(The thought of even lurking around more than two or three of those "wizards" at one time makes my teeth hurt. Don't know how EEE can stand it.)
Far too true for comfort, in my view.

I agree. There were some good “regular” threads during the election featuring LS and a few others with on-the-ground knowledge of specific races ... but that was so two-weeks-ago.
The Q threads have many advantages:
1) Mystery
2) Optimism (at least as compared ...)
3) Great contributions based on in-depth personal research in many cases.
4) Our own Literature and media (LexiQon, Oracle, Ransom’s Intros ... others!)
5) A sense of community within the thread leading to mutual RESPECT (except the trolls).
6) A sense of larger community (((WWG1WGA)))
7) A sense of participation with POTUS
8) Imagination
9) Even a spiritual edge at times, for those to whom it matters.
