So DH would collect them and put them in a jar and take them off the property and kill them. They were usually medium to biggish, say 8-10 inches long and horrible.

So one night there were two in the jar (with lid) and in the morning only bits and pieces, they ate each other to death.

So Dems will be like centipedes in a jar.

Stories like that just warm the cockles of my heart. :)
