Yeah, the abuse the abusers likely experienced is a bit of a moderating factoid. However, urges and impulses are possible to deny, ignore, squelch--not easy but usually doable--particularly with hard work and help.

I just cannot accept that even abused individuals are unalterably compelled beyond choice to rape & hack to pieces children.
