I think something is causing a mutation in the gene that controls the number of synapses. It could happen during pregnancy, through an injury at birth, or in something that happens to toddlers (start of fluoride toothpaste or vaccines).
Why so many boys with autism? Medically, what do we do differently with boys? What do we do differently now during pregnancy these days? We pump folic acid. I’m leaning toward folic acid as the cause right now. Let’s keep researching. For love of your grandchild and my nephew.
