Lol, same in my family. I had chicken pox and measles before I started kindergarten. Happened that way with a family of 6 kids.

My memory is the sugar cube given for polio and the shot for something else that left the mark on your left shoulder.

I’m still not comprehending the 69 shots thing. I’ll read the link when I get a chance. Thanks

The scar is the result of a smallpox vaccination. Although I had the vaccination as a child, once I applied for entry to college, I had to have another. This even though I carried the scar from the first vaccination.

They stopped routine smallpox vaccinations in the 1970’s, because it was felt that smallpox had been eradicated.
