Maybe I am weird or into raven haired Jewish women but I always found her attractive.
Yea, but I just don’t want my brain doing crazy things to me.
Somewhat attractive is her only merit......the rest of her is looney tunes
Today she looks better than previously, aging well,
BUT,
Would you want to be known as A lewinsky?
Fran Drescher, sure. Monica, not so much.
I have always been conflicted by this whole thing.
I don’t think she is particularly unattractive, though I find it sad (and telling) that she has had to constantly try to reinvent her looks and herself, and has never been able to do it. Her name will always be anathema to some, and a ribald joke to others, a funny name for a sexual act.
Like a lot of people, I do find the entire event disgustingly funny, and try as I might, it still hits me in certain ways that are probably un-Christian and inappropriate, but I can’t help it. It is like a cartoon that skewers in a cruel, unusual, and deserved way, someone you dislike (Such as Bill Clinton and the Left)
But I must admit, I do feel bad for her in that defining event of her entire life, in which she willingly participated, took place at a young age, and that was it for her life. That was it. That was all.
It ruined her life for what might have been.
She will never know what she might have been, might have done, who she would fall in love with, what kids she might have had...all she is, stems from that act, which as a young person she enthusiastically embraced.
And as such she became damaged goods. Reviled by the Left, viewed mostly as a soiled sex tool by the right, she became a famous person with no throng of fans.
She was an unknown intern, and she attracted the eye of the most powerful man in the world. And he took full advantage of his position. And it is one of the reasons I despise the Left. She was a tool to service him, something that they decry in concept but embrace in action, they all knew about her, and they ridiculed and spit on her, their creation through their dogma.
Don’t get me wrong. She was a willing participant and is responsible for her actions. And men younger than her have had their entire lives negatively defined by events they willingly participated in, sometimes on battlefields, sometimes on roadways in cars, and no sympathy is given.
But I find something tragic about her. If she had the wisdom of just a few more years, perhaps she would have understood the context of those advances by the President of the United States for what they were...the lecherous advances of someone who wanted to use her as a masturbatory implement and nothing more.
She was too young and immature to see it any other way than...exciting, and as a result, she pulled up her skirt to show him her thong, got her 15 minutes of fame, and the rest is history. I just find it sad. She was young, immature, and driven by a thrill, only to find it was a jar of Dorian Gray with hate, spite, loneliness, and sadness mixed in.
If she can’t stop talking about it, there is a likely reason for that. Like the Ancient Mariner who had to repeatedly tell the tale of the Albatross around his neck, she is compelled to do the same, and for much the same reasons.
I hope to God I never have the Internet Age 15 Minutes of Fame, especially like the kind she had. A Squalid Punchline.
I never thought she was unattractive...just wouldn’t want to in a relationship with her.
Would probably have creepy weird dreams about her and bill.
Not to mention I’d worry about getting an STD.
