53-47? Thought without McSally Senate would be 52-48?
Pence’s vote counts as one if needed.
GOP started with 51.....then lost AZ and Nevada GOP making it 49
Then GOP won Indiana, Missouri and North Dakota which were Dem seats to get the total back to 52.
Florida is currently a Dem seat and Rick Scott win brings it to 53.
All of this is subject to Mississippi electing the republican candidate in the runoff. Little doubt there, so all eyes remain on Florida to confirm 53.
