No. The language of Dilley would not work for Trump beyond an occasional crap or some such.

I just think that POTUS TRUMP sometimes cares overmuch about what the broad mass of citizen jerks think of him--his image.

I think people are wrong when they see him as mostly arrogant. I think he has more humility than most town mayors, for that matter. But there can be a streak of vanity show through that he'd be wiser to get totally on top of.

I think, paradoxically, he really DOES heart to heart identify with the poorer workers in America. Whether it's because of working so closely with them in construction or his early Christian training--something took deep root on that score. And folks who fail to discern it really miss the boat about Trump.

His letting that poor isolated black young woman continue "squatting" in Trump tower and to start sending her flowers or many thousands of other obscure kindnesses--it is from his heart--real--not show.

He even has a lot of caring for the millions of ignorant jerks who attack him and his policies. That is truly rare.

I think the timeline clue was Dilley's giddyness. He was really stoked over the intel from probably Trump Jr via Dilly's source. I don't think he'd have been THAT giddy if his impression was that the hammer thud was still quite a ways off. I certainly could be wrong and a victim of wishful thinking. It just seemed like Dilley was child-like giddy because 'Christmas was coming next week--or at least within 2 weeks, so to speak.'

Certainly, Trump is acting far less likely to play nice and let the DIMRATS off the hook in any respects.

Trump is indeed legitimately one of us AND a long-time billionaire. It is quite refreshing.

His base is so loyal because they know he is sincerely committed to recovering this country for its people despite all the abuse and plans to subsume it to the will of the global overlords. He understands the issues on many levels. God bless him.

His vanity and narcissism aren’t going away and have helped to give him the larger than life force to deal with larger than life issues and evil. People have written that into the equation by now.

His biggest error IMO has been in staffing and listening to Javanka in bringing in all kinds of Never Trumpers, NYC liberals, neocons, GOPe sellouts, etc. I’m glad to read today that he is now questioning Pence’s loyalty—but that’s a couple of years late! The idea that he is thinking of putting swamp creature Nick Ayers, Pence’s cos, in as his own is scary.
