Riddle me this AP and company...
Arizona...If there has been 1.7 million ballots counted, which represents 99% reporting, how can there be 600,000 ballots, in Arizona,jo left to be counted? Arizona does not have a very large population. If that is truly what is happening in AZ, then how can most of the Nationwide contest be called? Surely the larger states with greater populations must have somewhere north of 1 million ballots uncounted. AP, are you trying to divide and conquer? Make the sheeple believe there are 600,000 votes still to be counted, until just enough votes can be manufactured? Something definitely smells here....
Florida, Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, Montana.
Something rotten is going on.
Good to know. Thanks.
However, results may not be released until after 7 p.m. on election day. Any canvassing board member or election employee who releases any result before 7 p.m. on election day commits a felony of the third degree...
That is a bit of interesting information. A great way to know how many more votes are needed!
Not as red as it used to be, I can almost say purple.
Arizona State Election Results shows Sinema took the county by 8,000 votes.

Sinema ahead by about 2,000 votes now and:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 8, 2018
About 345,000 ballots left to process in Maricopa County
PHOENIXThe Maricopa County Elections Department has approximately 345,000 ballots left to process for the 2018 General Election.
Election Officials estimate about 195,000 of these are early ballots, provisional and out-of-precinct ballots that voters cast or dropped off on Election Day. Additionally, about 150,000 early ballots that the Elections Department received before Nov. 6 must be tabulated.
Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes expects tabulation to continue for several days. Officials will update the results daily at 5 p.m.
Election results are available at www.Maricopa.Vote. Precinct-level data is available here: https://recorder.maricopa.gov/electionresults/.
If I read an article correctly these ARE absentee ballots people brought and turned in the day of election.
Since this was the general election and a ballot requested would be a general ballot( you can not request a party ballot in the general) I still do not understand how anyone would know which political party you would be voting for in a general election
In Texas we do not register by party so I am just asking
I still do not understand how anyone would know which political party you would be voting for in a general election
Nobody knows what political party anyone is voting for, but I believe the original comment from Kazan was that more Republicans requested early ballots. They would know this by the number of Republican early ballots that were requested in the primary.
With 99.73% of the vote in Maricopa County reported - the votes for McSally are 523,881 - Sinema 551,581 - a 28,000 Sinema advantage; the votes for Ducey 624,591 - Garcia 449,590 - that 's about a 175,000 vote advantage for Ducey. Not buying it! A 200,000 vote difference between the Republican Senate candidate and the Republican Governor candidate?
“AZ is deep deep red. McSally has this.”
Not according to the latest results.
