A lot of those friends were avid Sessions supporters all along and even defended him against posters, who were against him. I know, because I was one.

But, when he so immediately recused himself it was a totla shock and seen as total betrayal, (never mind abandonment) of the POTUS, and a betrayal to us, who had defended his high principles. Sessions was the walk-away, to save himself, in a time when President Trump was in desperate need of a loyal Attorney General and in grave danger.

It was back then, when our hearts were in our throats, and the all the departments were still full of Obama political assassins, at Jusice and in the FBI, all setting RUSSIA COLLUSION traps for our new president. Sessions saved himself politically, but he paid a price when it was thought he may very well cost us the presidency in so doing.

Trump was livid at Sessions, but trapped by Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell who forced him to keep Sessions. Sessions then offered his resignation. (Of course Trump could not accept it. Great timing, Jeff.)

Q came along and started to defend Sessions, but who was Q? Q was still a stranger, and Q didn’t arrive on the scene in time to undo the damage. It was to many Trump loyalists like hearing that old question, “ Are you going to believe ME, or your own lying eyes?”

In fact, truthfully, it was Q defending Sessions that hurt Q itself. Period.

Trump convincingly despised Sessions and there was not a shred of argument to the contrary, or that could excuse Sessions behavior. Q was not enough to change the obvious, of what normies saw as abandonment at best and betrayal at worst.

Let’s hope Sessions turns out to be the “Stealth Bomber”, but outside in the real world, even that remains to be seen, since they do not follow Q. Until that hour, there is no way that words will be enough for Sessions to ever redeem his reputation, not among the outside-Q crowd of Trump loyalists.

Arguing with them is always going to be a lost cause.
