Probably anything I post is going to be old news to all of you guys.

Not so.

I can't count the times that there was something that I remembered or thought was so obvious, but I went ahead and posted it anyway, overcoming my EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT trepidations, and because I got a big mouth and just can't shut up, only to have somebody say "I didn't think of that" and all of a sudden I feel like a genius.

Some people might know things or have connected some dots and not put it in a post for the same reasons. And think of the people who DON'T know certain things or are just coming on board, or have forgotten stuff, or haven't made the connection.

It's good to put even the simplest things (or so you might think) out for everybody to see.

It's really a main part of our purpose here, I think.

YEp. Like the day I realized Hitler and Roosevelt were inaugurated the same year and I wondered how far apart and found out they were sworn in 33 days apart from each other, and died within the same month 12 years later. It always killed me that autists turned up stuff like that, but if you have enough monkeys typing on enough keyboards sooner or later one of’ems gonna produce Shakespeare.
