Silicon Valley entrepreneur Peter Thiel took the stage at the New York Times DealBook conference today to provide fresh insights on how to navigate the challenges ahead. He also personally addressed reports that he engages in an experimental life-extension therapy that involves the injection of blood from youthful donors.
DealBooks host, Andrew Ross Sorkin, waited to ask Thiel if he injects himself with young blood until the last question. On the record. I am not a vampire, Thiel said.

Blood transfusions as a life extender.
I have mixed feelings on this guy.
Not as bad as "andechrome" or whatever, but it's up there in strange town.
Bagster
IIRC, Keith Richards and others in that circle were getting - for lack of a better term - "full body" blood transfusions some years ago, supposedly for the purposes of flushing out drugs and generally feeling better. This was back when Keith and Anita (who I considered quite sinister and creepy) were married.
I don’t have mixed feelings on Thiel and his blood injection business.
I have only loathing and disgust for him. They need teenage blood, I read in an article a year ago. Of course, if they really want young childrens’ blood they’re not going to make that public.
