Wow! I didn’t know a cellphone could be a hotspot. If it’s taped to the window it must be dedicated to being a hotspot.
Yes. We have an LG G3 that we no longer use since my wife got her iPhone (for facetime with the grandkids all over the country). We have a 22 gig data plan that only throttles you if the cell tower is busy. But since we’re in the sticks, it’s never busy. It supports a highway about two miles from our house (as the crow flies). So we actually can watch high def movies on our smart TV at will. We stream Netflix, amazon prime, and some youtube.
Total phone bill for three phones and this plan is around $200 a month. When compared to having two phones and satellite internet, it’s a steal and a lot more useful.
