Dems ran on saying that Repubs wanted to take away their healthcare, social security and Medicare. All this would be due to Trump’s tax cuts “for the rich”. They twisted statistics and stories to convince low info voters. It worked.

It makes me so mad, and sad, that people just believe the lies without using their brains and thinking. I was just talking to a friend today about how people have had to just ignore how wonderful the economy is doing in order to vote against their own self-interest. And the tax cuts as you said. Don’t people look at their own tax returns instead of just believing what CNN says? I guess that was a sarcastic rhetorical question. I know most people don’t, they just have H&R Block do them and they don’t even look at the numbers, only the refund. So sad. Dumbing-down down our public schools has really worked to the Liberals advantage.
