Sad news in California this morning.
We'll be leaving to go to The American Legion soon. Today we are serving Turkey lunch/dinner with all the trimming for the Veterans.

Yes, very sad news, 13 shot dead at a country bar in Thousand Oaks, CA. The gunman is among the 13 dead. 29 year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office among those killed.

Good Morning, Dolly! Yesterday, I added a horizontal boring machine to my stable. I have wanted that capability since I gave Jack my Shopsmith, which had that capability.
Kind of a sad, but familiar story story. Single Dad, relocating to a rented house with two really great sons. Loves the machine, but hasn’t the space. I had a flashback to 11-years ago.
Anyway, I drove down to Massachusetts to pick it up. Got home about 7:30, grateful that I no longer have to make that commute south on a daily basis.
This machine is going right into the shop, this morning. It came with a number of different sized drill bits. It is a two-spindle model, which allows drilling two holes simultaneously. Will be a great help in cabinet making, and another fine example of American manufacturing and design prowess, saved from the scrap heap.
Household Six enabled this. I am a lucky guy!

I keep thinking I’d put rules in place to shut down this mayhem, but I’m wondering if Our President doesn’t mind it. He can really think on his feet and doesn’t seem to mind a bit of chaos.
