Don’t waste your or our time predicting: get yourself and everyone you count on, off your butts and vote.

California has two Senators too many. So does Delaware.

By the same logic, representative democracy is just as flawed. The only solution would be to put all questions up to direct, popular vote. In other words, mob rule.

I don’t understand your comment about California and Wyoming having two Senators. There’s 50 States. Each State has two Senators regardless of population.

They’ve already started that along with “the Electoral College isn’t democratic.”

counterprediction:
The Dems will hold a protest sit-in at the House because they were rousted in the elections. Binkies and blankies will be in great demand, as will comfort ferrets. The talking heads in the press will call in sick the following day, they won’t be able to stop crying. The Senate will have better manners. They will just take to the podium and bore each other into comas with endless monotone lecturing, peppered with brief theatrics and the occasional fiery presser in the hallway.

So, you are predicting that people have no understanding of the Constitution. That’s like predicting the sun will rise.

Solution....go back to the Senators being appointed by the Governors. This way they represent the interests of the state and the Governors are elected by the people of that state, so there’s still representation of the people’s will.
