That I believe was in Mathew certainly. And would probably be noted in Mark,too.
But I don’t believe that phrase was used in Luke.

If one accepts that He has patterns ,knowing His patterns can give us an idea of where we are or when we are on His plan.
Mathew, Mark and Luke have omissions or contradictions within them that offer clues to this.
The Old Testament has a threefold testimony that could fit the synoptics gospels as a part of a threefold age in terms of timekeeping.
One of the Old Testament clues is the birth of Judahs twins, Zerah and Peres to Tamar. Since Christ comes from Judah,and the priesthood now through Judah,there is a picture of His plan.

Those two boys were actually born as a three and their names reflect a pattern of rod-serpent-rod.
The first child only pulled his hand out - Zerah.

Zerah means Light. Zerah wasn’t fully born. His hand was pulled out, wrapped with a scarlet thread, then pulled back in..

Then the full birth of his twin brother, Peres.

Peres means break,/breach

Then Zerah was fully born.

The order, Zerah/Peres/Zerah or Light/Break-breach/Light is the same pattern of rod-serpent-rod.

Christ was born and was slain and left quickly. The Light left and darkness came.

If that pattern exists,then Mathew-Mark-Luke may share that same pattern.
That would mean things stated in Mathew Mark and Luke (or not stated) can offer clues to where or when we are in terms of the Light or dark/breach
The Light left soon after His Resurrection and is set to return.
Since the Light has yet to return, it seems the world is still in the break/breach/dark period.

How far before the Light returns? If it says in Mathew and Mark than no man knows, It wasn’t for people born in Mathew or Mark’ to know. And Mathew and Mark have that phrase (no man knows) in those specific gospels for a reason.
Something that isn’t specifically worded in Luke.

But the Passover does seem to be prepared when His two disciples go into the city,disciples find a man carrying a jar of water at Passover..(Referenced in Mark and Luke only, not in Mathew)

According to His calendar in His Word and His sky, the man carrying a jar of water at Passover isn’t occuring in His sky, at Passover.
Passover is still being held while the sun is traveling through the two fish,not the man carrying a jar of water

There does appear to be a future time where Passover will take place when there is a man carrying a jar of water.
Israel doesn’t observe Passover yet while that sign is occuring.

It would seem we are nearing the end of Mark, as Mark is the only gospel that mentions the about 2,000 swine and the two cock crows..
At the time of Mark and Luke, there will absolutely be people who do not know (Mark) but not everyone will be asleep when He returns.

People who were born or lived when the Light was first here (His first disciples- a Mathew period) and those first called Christians (a Mark period) were not to know when the Light would return. None of those people were going to be alive when He returns.
Those born at the end of Mark and the beginning of Luke would have people who too would not know. But Luke doesn’t state the same verse that ‘no man knows’..
If Luke represents a time that Light returns, after a breach/break/dark,there will be people who are awake and waiting.
Some may even know the exact day He is due to return.
Just like some wisemen knew His star was seen in the sky and they knew He was born- and they came to worship Him.
Most didn’t..
They were ‘asleep’ or unaware..
The wisemen just knew when and where to look.
They weren’t any smarter than any other human beings.
Just born at the right time and followed the signs the Creator gave His people.

There is lots in His Word that can give us wisdom, understanding and knowledge..
