The red heifer is not mentioned in prophesy. However it IS important to the end times.
The red heifer is needed to sacrifice at the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple on the site of the current muslim Dome of the Rock mosque.
more importantly, plans to rebuild the temple are dependent on another thing: the Arc of the covenant once again in Jewish possession.
the new temple is mentioned in prophesy. But the Arc and the red heifer are not. They are prerequisites for the temple.
muslims know that too. IF the arc was declared as found. it would be instant war with all the surrounding muslim states for they would know the Dome of the Rock would be living on borrowed time.
Was the Arc of the covenant present in the second temple?
I somehow thought it wasn’t, that it had been hidden long before then. I could be mistaken, and hope to be corrected if I am.
Also, there’s been discussion that a temple need not be present in order to resume sacrifices.I guest there are other ways around that. Some say that a third temple will be built. They have found the source of the blue dye they need. They now know what goes into the holy oil. Priests are being trained in temple duties, and the equipment needed for the temple has been made.
As far as the prophecy of the snake goes..the article was the first time I’ve ever heard that one!
All I do know is that half way through some agreement, the antichrist causes the sacrifice to cease.
I guess that could make a case for a third temple, but when it comes to the Word, I hate to assume anything.
