The Green Pages:
See a great resource on the web for details on elections, office holders etc.
I have used this resource for years.
HOUSE Right now, it says Republicans have 235 in the House with 7 vacancies and the Democrats hold 193. Of course, all 7 vacant seats will be filled by this election.
SENATE Right now, it says Republicans hold 51, Democrats hold 47 but also have in their caucus 2 Independents.
Let's decide what are predictions are for Wednesday of next week and thereafter.
Go handwring. I am not verifying what I know because of trolls.
I hoped I am pleasantly shocked by the outcome. If Republicans win big it might portend an amazing positive change in this country over the next decade.
That's a pretty bold prediction. Every Republican here in Northeast Illinois is in a highly competitive race with several predicted to lose their seats. The house seats are very much a referendum on PDJT. Every commercial links every Republican house member with the President as "being too extreme."
The Democrats are doing their level best to control everything north of Interstate 80 in this state ....
It is amazing what money they are dumping into negative ads in support of their bi-sexual Senate candidate in Arizona and similar races out here.
Someone was saying that 5 Billion in ad buys had been made.
I don’t get to spend a lot of time in Chicago as I used to since I have retired. I keep thinking prosperity might cause a breakout candidate to appear and the combine might have its back broken. Wishful thinking because I like the town and people.
You greatly misunderstood my post to you. I wasn’t disagreeing with you. I was simply stating I am nervous about the election but your post that you knew it would be good would make me the happiest person on earth. I wasn’t asking you to verify anything or questioning you - but you lashed out anyway.
Would you like to apologize now?
You called it. Spot on.
We need neither Cook nor Rothenberg, if we have Noble
seems many predicted House poorly. Larry Sabato & Cook etc analyzed race by race. What did those here base their predictions on?
