Seems that it’s always been, but now it’s affecting comity.

I spend much of my time reading and collecting about historical figures deep into the NY political world of the late 18th/early 19th c. The passions over politics were just as deep as ours. At least our politicians don’t fight duels.

Very interesting mairdie. I enjoyed reading those clips though it took me a moment to adjust to the typeset. The “s” threw me for a loop!
