Not numerology and most certainly not astrology; it is gematria, an ancient interpretive tool of Scripture. If you read that page on numbers you will see that it applies likewise to both Hebrew and Greek.
Biblical numbers as interpreted must apply in each and every application, as near perfect as we can hope to achieve. I dealt there with the basic first ten digits, the rest simply expanding upon that base. You can get an idea by reading, for example, the Epistle of Barnabas - not because it is acceptable cannon but because it circulated in the early church; thus it offers insight in to how they viewed numbers.
***I'm sorry you find my disagreeing with your findings so stressful***
I cannot imagine where you detected 'stress'. I am fully confident after over 30 years of study in the matter. You were dismissive and flip; now you talk of 'working together' when I saw no such offer in your 'no cigar' judgment.
As to the number '9' I agree that the conclusion is ambiguous. As I progress from '6', the only evil number of the first 10, through '7' (redemption, put simply), through '8' (salvation, deliverance, Messiah), I arrive at '9', man's highest attainment - I identify it as 'Israel' - next to God's unattainable perfection - 10. It is a logical progression, spiritually.
As an example of '8', Messiah, I would point you to Isaiah 53: wounded for our transgressions... etc. 5 + 3 = 8. Isaiah is just an incredible anointed book for study.
Enough space for this thread for now.

Number "9" is THE magic number. There are a bunch of opinions of what it means. That's numerology, susceptible to being subjective and not so much objective, and abuse by charlatans.
I see "9" in Rev. 13:18, derived from 6+6+6, as possibly a "coded" verification that our social security numbering system may actually fulfill the "Mark of the Beast" prophecy.
Do you realize what that would mean?
