He is the same age as my father. My father signed up with the Navy on Pearl Harbor Day and served as a Navy diver until the end of the war.
My father applied for his driver’s license renewal in Florida and was bragging to me that he got it. It’s extended to 2022. He thinks it’s funny … he says the state of Florida has sanctioned him to live to 100.

I have a friend who’s grandfather played a role in the Bay of Pigs after they escaped communist Cuba. His Grandmother wanted to live long enough to see Castro dead or deposed. She missed it by only a few months.
