Don’t matter where ya live.
Ain’t no “authority” gonna do anything.
IF they call, tell them “This call is being recorded for quality control purposes”. Bet you won’t get any more calls.
Don’t wait for another letter - take the ones you have to the Board.
I noticed yesterday that AARP has stopped putting their logo on the envelope. I had to open it before it went in the trash.
Notify the BOE NOW! Don't wait for another letter.
My girl got one of those the other day, she threw it in my shred pile.
Yeah, sneaky bassturds, they are.
Next they'll start using those fancy pseudo-FedEx "RUSH! Priority Overnight!" cardboard envelopes, like the used car sales outfits...
Except that it also said they were going to call her to check up and find out why she voted (or didn't). That was unsettling. Then a few days later a second letter arrived, and this one was much more direct, even somewhat arrogant. And again, the warning about how they're going to call and find out whether she voted and other personal and private information. Then today a third letter arrived, and this one was a "Voting Report Card for {her name}", with a list of recent elections and whether she had voted or not, and a bar graph rating her "Voting Score" and comparing it to others in our area. And again the warning about a phone call to check up on her.
That exactly is what's intimidating - the idea the people somewhere are checking up on her voting record, that her record is being compared to others, that she will be getting phone calls approving or not approving how she voted - suitable for a totalitarian state - not for a free country......
I received the same mailer. I looked up the 3 claims and they were not really true. So I looked at the website and it had a DC address on the site but a Trenton address on the mailer. The site did not have a traditional footer that denotes legit info.
