First off, it was not a *fiery* speech.
I thought he seemed tired and subdued.
After listening to it, mr. mm also said he didn’t seem to be himself. And I had not said anything to him either.
So both of us noticed that he seemed off.
Second, he DID. NOT. SAY. that the military would fire on anyone.
The media is outright lying about what he said.
We are not going to put up with that. If they want to throw rocks at our military, our military fights back. I told them to consider it a rifle. When they throw rocks like they did at the Mexico military and police, I say consider it a rifle.
I heard the audio on the radio and literally gasped. You’re mincing words. I’m not happy about it, but that is what he alluded to. It is not wrong to say he said rock throwers would be fired upon because to suggest otherwise suspends disbelief. He needlessly gave the media ammunition (pun intended).
Fyi, he sounded “off” to me as well. “Subdued” is an apt word for it also.
